CPD Resources is a joint venture of Sue Lauer and Nicholas Lauer. We provide consultancy services in staff development and training; teacher education and curriculum reform; and writing (teacher training and school curriculum resources). We also provide consultancy services in database design and development; desktop publishing; computer applications; and Internet research.

Sue Lauer has over 30 years experience in education and training, including two long term inputs as an adviser on Australian aid projects in Papua New Guinea. Her speciality is professional training for practicing and trainee teachers. Sue is an author of two books: ‘Pumice and Ash: An account of the 1994 Rabaul volcanic eruptions’ (1995) and ‘Natural Hazards and Disasters in Papua New Guinea’ (2005). Sue has also worked as a sessional academic and senior research assistant at three Australian universities.

Nicholas Lauer is education and information management consultant. He has worked on a number of aid projects in Papua New Guinea. Nicholas’s inputs have included the design databases for the delivery school materials; student records; storing school survey data; and personnel file tracking. He was also involved as an adviser in information management for the PNG Department of Education.
